About Me

Hello! My name is Juan Andrés and I from Argentina. (I know you’ve already read it, but was the best way to start I could find) I'll be travelling this year and next one (hope with no stop). I’m a good guy, easy to get along with, always joking and laughing. I’m respectful of everywhere I go and do like to keep things clean and in order.

I’m looking forward to meet people, but not like hotel stuff. People to bond over, have interesting and deep conversations. Also talk and laugh about silly stuff. Meet people who help me to get to know the city, as I’m not crazy about normal attractions/activities for tourists (I don’t consider myself one). I mean, for sure there is good stuff to visit (popular doesn’t mean bad necessarily) but I enjoy places where not all the people go, like the “the pub around the corner” that I may don’t find in a guide.

What I’m crazy about is music. I like to compose songs, I’ll take my guitar so hope you enjoy me!

Also I want to improve my languages, especially french. I’ll talk to everyone who gets on my way: people, animals, stones, etc.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I find it an interesting and good tool that makes meeting cool people much easier.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all those rock bands from 60s to 2000s, watching them on stage playing instruments and stuff (I do love going to gigs). Though I've been a little bit (too much) resistant to the new sounds and style that has kicked rock out of its throne, after a while, I found good stuff and started to embrace it. It took me sometime to realize that our tastes and stuff we are used to, can be our own boundaries too.

I enjoy reading about political history but I end up forgetting almost everything, so…

I like to write too. Once in a blue moon I like what I get.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Nothing comes to me right now, maybe because there is nothing WOW THAT AMAZING but for sure I have some good tales to tell… A couple of beers could refresh my mind!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to play guitar, bass, drums and keys. Not saxophone, as I don’t know how to play it.

Also I can teach you Spanish, as is my first language, and help you with English too.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My culture, my thoughts (not a big thing, but you may find something useful) and my good vibes: I'm full of them. I think there's no way you get bored with me. And if you do, you can press my "reset button" in the back of my head.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Switzerland, United States, Uruguay

Countries I’ve Lived In
