ABOUT ME

Grew up in Peru, born again in Europe and made Yorkshire my new home in 2007. If I had to describe myself (which I rarely do, I usually let people make up their own mind on that) I'd say I'm a pretty laid back person, ruled by Venus, who appreciates all the good things in life but above all friendship and new experiences. I rarely get upset, unless you mess my house too much or abuse my guitar but other than that I am very tolerant. If you cook for me you will be my best friend from day one :)

PHILOSOPHY

I gave up the philosophy....from now on it's only 'relax, relax, relax'.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed, I've hosted, attended meetings...great experience so far.
I've hosted people from: Germany x8, Chile, Mexico, USA, Poland, France, Russia, Japan, Belgium, Denmark, Switzerland, Canada.

Interests

Guitar, reading, rambling, concerts, cooking, salsa, environmental and social issues. Although I don't play it as well as I'd like, guitar is my biggest passion.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Doing Ayahuasca sessions in the mountains of Lima in the 90's with young Javier was amazing in a personal way and lead to the rollercoaster of things that came after until now. The master, the fire and the snake stay in me forever.

Today every day things and people amaze me. I've moved from wanting to travel all around the world looking for excitement, to just enjoying watching people go on with their lives. I realise now that simple pleasures are the most powerful and enduring.

Teach, Learn, Share

I got a recipe or two I can share, I dance a bit of salsa so I can bring you to the latin bars in Leeds and I play guitar so if you bring your own we can jam!
