Why I’m on Couchsurfing

En 2013 necesité un espacio en Bogotá, Colombia por 6 días, estaba allá por el America Cantat. Luego una Coralista me pudo alojar por esos 6 días (no fue por couchsurfing)
Decidí conservar la cuenta de Couchsurfing ya que he alojado a personas tanto de mi país como del exterior sin necesidad de esta cuenta pero las anteriores experiencias han sido bastante gratificantes y felices y ahora le dedico tiempo al couchsurfing.

Needed a bed for 6 days in Bogotá, Colombia. A local choir singer helped me there, so no need for couchsurfing back then.
I decided to keep this couchsurfing account since i hosted people from my country and other countries before without this account. Those experiences were really great and fun! so now i've decided to pay some attention to couchsurfing.

ok this one's not easy so what i do have in mind now is:
Music:
early music (everything from perotinus (and back) to bach (and beyond)
i kind of have a fixation on Scriabin music and Bartok or hungarian/romanian music, also avant-garde music.
folk world wide music, Jazz, electronic music!, i DO love salsa and merengue (not a very good dancer though... sorry), also Mariza and her Fado.

Movies (oh god...)
Kubrick, Tarkovsky, Aronofsky, Wong kar wai, Kim-ki duk, Ridley Scott, Tim Burton, nordic film culture and music resonates with me (i still need to figure it out why is it so alluring to me) Park chan wook of course! Lars von Trier, Paolo Sorrentino, Pier Paolo Passolini, Federico Fellini, nouvelle vague, Miyazaki, and some hollywood :D

Books (not that long)
Julio Cortázar, Jorge Luis Borges, Rafael Cadenas, greek philosophy and keep on... oh i love Dante's Divine Comedy, Gunther Grass, Joyce, Poe, Octavio Paz, Pessoa, Miguel Hernandez etc etc etc etc etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Nobel Peace Price in Oslo as a singer in a choir, Chucho Valdéz in Cuba, Brad Mehldau in Ghent Belgium, and some other concerts i've been.

I work teaching Music History at school and university, some singing, some solfeggio.

What I Can Share with Hosts

This is important, i'm living with my family, father and mother. I do have a little sister living in Argentina at the moment.
We're very giving, my parents are really nice and friendly but they do not speak any other language (but so far, so good)
