About Me

Hello, i'm someone interested in getting to know a lot about the world, to meet people from different cultures and backgrounds. To learn more from people's journeys and to have conversations on a lot of topics. I have lived all my life in Medellín and i like to travel a lot, when i have the time to do it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because i like to know people from all over the world and to travel without a schedule set up by a tourist agency. I also like the chance to know about the local routines and activities that make every place so unique. This seems like a good way to achieve that, connecting people with common perspectives.

Music, Movies, and Books

For me is difficult to say that i have a favorite music, movies or books because there are a lot of them but i'll share some names that come to mind.

Rock is my usual soundtrack, artists like Radiohead, Queens of The Stone Age, Pixies, Iggy Pop, Future of the Left, Artic Monkeys, Deftones, Bauhaus, Mastodon, Gang of Four, Killing Joke, AC DC, Blur, The Clash. I also like salsa music (to listen and dance to), especially what we call in Medellín 'salsa dura' (something like hard salsa), from the 1970's.

On movies: Pulp Fiction, Inception, Silence of the Lambs, the Usual Suspects, Chihiro (Spirited Away), Green Mile, Shawshank Redemption, Inception, The Departed, Full Monty, La Estrategia del Caracol, Los Viajes del Viento, In the Name of the Father, and so on, and on...

On books i like The Accursed Kings, The Name of the Rose, Gabriel Garcia Márquez One Hundreds Years of Solitude, some Stephen King's books works from colombian journalists Daniel Samper Pizano y Germán Castro.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To travel and get to know a lot of people from all over the world and with a lot of different backgrounds

Teach, Learn, Share

Dance Salsa, talk history

What I Can Share with Hosts

I could give some informal lessons to dance Salsa (as we dance in Medellín) or i could play some recreational football (soccer). And i could be a good person to have a conversation on rock, sports or other issues.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Chile, Czech Republic, Ecuador, England, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Peru, Slovakia, Spain, United States
