ABOUT ME

I am 26 years old, my husband Iain is 29, together we both moved from Melbourne in April 2011 only 2 weeks after being married to work over in the United Arab Emirates! Suffice to say a very big change. We both are extremely adventurous, love travelling and can't wait to do more if funds allow!
I love seeing live music and gigs, love meeting new people and hearing all about their crazy travel stories, love a good coffee, icecreams on the beach, a wicked gig, wine, a good honest conversation, and travelling of course :)
Iain works as a School PE teacher in Sharjah, UAE, and is an aventurer at heart! I'm working as a Physiotherapist in Dubai City.

PHILOSOPHY

i love learning new things about life and why i live it, i believe that you have to give of yourself to get the most out of life. I love this earth and the beauty that is all around us. Be positive always.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been so lucky to host and meet a few amazing people that have stayed with me in Melbourne, and also got the opportunity to visit them again when i was travelling in europe. I couchsurfed around europe for 4 months in '08, and had the best time ever! I've met some amazing people, had loads of fun unparallel to anything else i've experienced. Keen to host more (and surf more) and meet other new and interesting people from all over our beautiful world :)

snowboarding, seeing live music gigs, dancing the night away to good 90's music;), drinking cocktails on the beach, gin 'n' tonics, mangoes, being a physio for crazy old people, skinny dipping at the beach at night time, postcards, thunderstorms, roadtrips with friends, jesus, leaning new things, random acts of kindness, sunrises, travelling.. being stuck in places with no money/no idea/no common language!

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Hiking through the Khumbu region to Mt Everest Base Camp in April 2012 has to be one of the most amazing things we've ever done. Definitely was the toughest too, but the view from the top of Mt Kalapatar was absolutely breathtaking.
