I am Juan and as many of you, I decided to start travelling since I finished my studies. I always say that the best way to get to know different cultures and traditions of people around the world is by sharing conversations with local people and getting involved in their daily life.

I came from a family of farmers where I have been educated in the best way to understand how is important to help and share with the rest what you get, for that reason, I have always been trying to participate as a volunteer or worker in different organisations, ONGs, museums, schools in all the countries where I have been living (Spain, Italy, England and Northern Ireland). In all these experiences I received people at home and they have hosted me in their places, that is why I think this is a brilliant platform to keep helping people in their experiences abroad and being help out home.

In addition, I am so interested to know more about conflict resolution in order to understand more about how to begin a peaceful process in our society, I am also interested in history, politics, healthcare system, food culture, music, dance, language, etc.

I might speak too much... but I would try not to be so annoying!

I am really excited to be part of this huge family and I am looking forward to having a new experience the whole time.

I have decided to be part of this huge community because I would like to meet people who are looking for new experiences in the place where I live, due to I can host them in order to have a good time and maybe learn something from the place, therefore, I believe it is a good way to meet people in other places and share fun experiences with them in their respective places.

I have to confess that I listen to many different styles of music it depends on the mood, however, when I am at home I used to listen to jazz, folk or piano, in contrast when I am travelling I am more interested in the traditional music of the place. I would say that one of my favourite movies is The Last Samurai, don't ask me why but I love it. I love "Animal Farm" by George Orwell.

I guess I am good socializing with people because I love hearing from people's experiences and being a support for those who need to express their feeling or emotions for a while. I could help you with Spanish and perhaps with Italian even if it is not my native language. In addition, I love cooking and music then it could be a great choice to spend time talking and cooking traditional recipes from my place or others while listening to some good music.
