About Me

Hey there - my name is Juan Jose and I’m from Ecuador. I've been living in Barcelona for a little more than 3 years now and consider this place my new home!

I studied HR Management in Ecuador, then moved to Spain to study a master’s degree in Sistemic Coaching. After this I decided to stay and have been doing some studies in Psychology of Groups and Executive Coaching. I also work in Recruitment on a tech company and tend to do some coaching processes for clients as freelance.

I love traveling. Doing something new and different is what makes me enjoy it so much. Meeting new people, different cultures, different points of view. I also like hiking whenever I can. Love the beach, the sea, the mountain. I feel peace whenever I have contact with nature. I love jazz! Jamie Cullum is a favorite. I like techno as well, Black Coffee or Claptone are just some examples :)

I consider myself a very open-minded person and an easygoing guy. I respect all kinds of people. I’m all about diversity, which is why I am not tolerant with discrimination of any kind. Also, LGBTI+ here 🙋🏻‍♂️🏳️‍🌈

If there's anything else you'd like to know, feel free to ask :) I’m not able to host at my flat at this very moment since I share with more people and no one’s home during the day.. but hey, I’m always open to show you around the city during the weekends!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love seeing different cities through local people’s eyes!
