ABOUT ME

My name is Jan and I paint what my heart feels. Born in Europe, used to live in Vancouver (Canada), now living on my beautiful land in the Sierra Norte Poblana region, 3 hours east of Mexico city and 2 hours west of the gulf beaches of Veracruz.

I am very grateful for my life- the freedom to travel this world and the Peace and Love I found within. Being a full time artist is a dream come true. I paint for the benefit of everyone, so when they look at my art, they forget the mind-drama for a while and come back home, to their hearts. Because one moment of remembering who you REALLY are can indeed change your WHOLE LIFE. And that is my mission- to Awaken Humanity.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I made many friends all over the world through Couchsurfing. I hosted and was hosted many times. It's all about service!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Besides one weird experience in China (the person who left me a negative reference) I had only great experiences. And even that one, I am grateful for. Things happen for a reason and it was meant to happen. Always thankful!

兴趣

I like creating things with my hands. When I have free time, I do sports or I read. I love to go out and have fun too, life's short so enjoy it to the max:)

I love all sorts of books. Spiritual path is very important to me.

I am a devoted yoga practitioner. I do yoga almost every day.
Other interests:
Being child again in nature, sunsets at the beach (sometimes with beers:), meditation, reading, friends.
