I'd like to meet new people in order to share and exchange my passion for Brussels and I'd be grateful to receive the same when travelling abroad.

ABOUT ME

Hola familia! My name is Juan, I was born about 33 years ago in the beautiful city of Sevilla..they call it the "Spanish Paris" because its citizens are always talking about it ;) I lived there untill I was 10 when my mum decided to move to Dublin, clearly my second home. We lived there for two years, enough time to fall in love with the country and its leprechauns.

Then, after two unforgettable years we moved back to Spain where I studied all my years of Secondary School and five years of University.

I decided to study Tourism because I´ve always loved travelling and I´m fascinated by the different languagues and cultures that hide behind. It was only a three year degree and it seemed a bit short so I decided to go for another one.. And I did two more years of Advertising and Public Relations.

Once I was finished I decided to move again..I went to the capital of the kingdom..Madrid! Fascinating city by the way...

As Madrid was become way too hot for me I decided to move to Brussels six years ago and here I am still, I have become a real brusseleir ! :P

For a living I work as a Project Manager at a virtual events company in the US.

Work occupies eight hours of my day ( occupied before the COVID crisis as I'm now paid for chilling at the park ) and I try to fullfill all my free time with fun things to do, like cycling , going to the lake and swimming into some exciting novels... I´m very focused on improving my language skills. Apart from English and Español, I also speak fluent French and Italian. Special mention to Arabic as I'm on second year but I don't really feel very comfortable about it just yet ;) Anybody willing to do some language exchange with me will be more than welcome , of course!

I'm very enchanted and passionate by Brussels cultural and night life which is eclectic and veeeery fun! I recommend it to all of you. And I will be very pleased to show you a couple of its magic spots, if you will.

There is so much and so little I could write about me..that I´m just gonna let you discover it in case you are curious ;)

Ciao famiglia! Il mio nome è Juan , sono nato 25 anni fa nella bella città di Siviglia .. lo chiamano l '" la Parigi spagnola " perché i cittadini sono sempre parlando di lei ;) ho vissuto lì fino a quando avevo 10 anni che la mia mamma ha deciso di trasferirsi a Dublino , chiaramente la mia seconda casa . Abbiamo vissuto lì per due anni, tempo sufficiente per innamorarsi con il paese ed i suoi "leprechaun" .

Poi , dopo due anni indimenticabili siamo tornati in Spagna dove ho studiato tutti i miei anni di scuola media e cinque anni di Università .

Ho deciso di studiare Turismo Perché ho ​​sempre amato viaggiare e sono affascinato dai diversi lingue e culture che si nascondono dietro . Era solo una laurea triennale e mi sembrava un po 'corto , così ho deciso di andare per un altro .. E ho fatto altri due anni di Pubblicità e Relazioni Pubbliche .

Quando ho finito ho deciso di trasferirmi di nuovo .. sono arrivato alla città capitale del regno .. Madrid ! Città affascinante .. e anche un po ' più conveniente per trovare un lavoro .

Così eccomi qui ora , lavorando in un hotel piacevole e centrale in Plaza Santa Ana. Sono molto felice e mi piace trattare con i clienti di tutto il mondo, nonostante possono a volte essere un po 'opprimente !

Lavoro occupa otto ore della mia giornata ma cerco di esaudire tutto il mio tempo libero con la formazione e cose da fare anche divertente . Sono molto concentrato sul migliorare le mie capacità linguistiche . A parte Inglés e spagnolo , parlo anche correntemente il francese e un po 'di italiano . Qualcuno disposto a fare qualche scambio linguistico con me sarà più che apprezzato.

Oltre il lavoro , le lingue e le necessità di base , mi piace uscire e scoprire la "notte misteriosa a Madrid" . Lo consiglio a tutti voi . E sarò molto lieto di mostrarvi un paio dei suoi luoghi magici .

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Bonjour familia ! Je m´appelle Juan , je suis né il ya 25 ans dans la belle ville de Séville .. on l'appelle la "Paris Spagnole" parce que ses citoyens sont toujours en parler ;) J'ai vécu là jusqu'à 10 ans quand ma mère a décidé de déménager à Dublin, clairement ma deuxième maison . Nous y avons vécu pendant deux ans, le temps de tomber en amour avec le pays et ses "leprechauns" .

Puis , après deux années inoubliables , nous sommes retournés à l'Espagne où j'ai étudié toutes mes années d' école secondaire et cinq ans de l'université .

J'ai décidé d'étudier Tourisme Parce que j'ai toujours aimé voyager et je suis fasciné par les différents langues et des cultures qui se cachent derrière . C'était seulement un diplôme de trois ans mais il semblait un peu court , alors j'ai décidé d'opter pour une autre .. Et j'ai fait deux ans de la Publicité et des Relations publiques .

Une fois terminé .. Je suis venu à la capitale du royaume .. Madrid ! Ville fascinante .. et aussi un peu plus pratique pour trouver un emploi.

Donc ici, je suis maintenant, en travaillant dans un hôtel central et agréable sur la Plaza Santa Ana. Je suis très heureux et j'aime traiter avec des clients de partout dans le monde même qu´Ils peuvent parfois être un peu écrasante !

Le travail occupe huit heures de ma journée mais j'essaie de remplir mes temps libres avec la formation et les choses plus amusantes à faire. Je suis très concentré sur l'amélioration de mes compétences linguistiques . Outre anglais et en espagnol , je parle aussi couramment français et un peu l'italien . Tout le monde prêt à faire un échange linguistique avec moi sera bien apprécié.

Outre le travail , les langues et les besoins de base , j'aime aller à la découverte de la " nuit mystérieuse à Madrid " . Je le recommande à tous. Et je serai très heureux de vous montrer un couple de ses spots magiques.

Il ya tellement de choses et si peu que je pourrais écrire sur moi .. que je vais juste vous faire découvrir dans le cas où vous êtes curieux ;)

Interests

I´m very interested in multicultural experiences in general. I think meeting new people and getting to know new cultures and societies is very positive and enriching.
This is one of the reasons why I love speaking other languages. The other reason is my job as I work in the hospitality industry.
