Current status: traveling by bike through the Mediterranean sea (Spain - Italy - Greece - Turkey - Balkans)

I'm Juanlu, a cyclist who usually works as a dentist when he settles in a city but occasionally starts a travel by bike without a return ticket.

I have just arrived from a 15-month bike trip through the Andes and the Amazon rainforest of Latin America (Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, Chile and Brazil) and have embarked on what will be my last long-term adventure bordering the mediterranean sea.

Regular reader, photography enthusiast, curious in general, lover of talks accompanied by bread, cheese and wine or some recipe made with love (now I've taken to making pizzas). Passionate about nature, about climbing mountains, hooked on its challenges and free camping accompanied by skies that are as starry as possible. I also like to go to cities and towns and stay with local people to share good times and cultural exchange.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

During the trips I have made, people have helped me a lot. I would like to give it back to the travel community, to anyone who needs a place in my city.
