I am Juan Camilo from San Carlos, Colombia, a small town close to Medellin. I am a Spanish teacher and I have started my own Spanish school here in San Carlos called Spanish Adventure. I like to explore nature and learn new things while meeting new people.

I can adapt really easily because I love nature, hiking, and landscaping, as well as exploring the city sights and going to techno parties.

I am traveling to Europe for the first time with my boyfriend to make our dream come true.

We are open-minded and we like to try new things and experience places in an authentic way, with the help of locals.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started using Couchsurfing when I went to Argentina during my university years. I met a lot of people there because La Plata had a strong Couchsurfing community with frequent meetings, which was really fun.

Now, after so much time, I am making my dream come true by traveling to Europe. I believe that meeting local people is the best way to travel, as it allows you to better understand the culture.

That's why we're here. My boyfriend and I would like to make new friends while we travel together in Europe.

Interests

We are interested in meeting people, sharing culture and languages, and exploring new places to have new experiences. We would love to make friends to share new local experiences with!

Music, Movies, and Books

We enjoy various types of music including Techno and are interested in attending a festival. We also appreciate Metal and have plans to attend an Epica concert on June 15th. Additionally, we enjoy sharing our appreciation for Latin music. We are open-minded and flexible when it comes to music.

We love fantasy books and movies such as Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, and Marvel movies. We also enjoy stories with deep plots and many twists, as well as the works of filmmakers like Guillermo del Toro, Gaspar Noe, Tarantino, and Christopher Nolan
