About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Staying as happy as I'm right now!
ABOUT ME
Easy smiler, like to laugh. I´m never stressed. NEVER, which sometimes has gained me a few surprised looks. Love travelling.
PHILOSOPHY
I can't top what Italo Calvino once wrote: The inferno of the living is not something that will be; if there is one, it is what is already here, the inferno where we live every day, that we form by being together. There are two ways to escape suffering it. The first is easy for many: accept the inferno and become such a part of it that you can no longer see it. The second is risky and demands constant vigilance and apprehension: seek and learn to recognize who and what, in the midst of inferno, are not inferno, then make them endure, give them space.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I had a great experience with couchsurfing a few years ago, and now I'm back! I love chatting with people to learn and teach about life all over the world. And of course, going for a walk and sharing a meal whenever possible (unfortunatelly, I'm such a bad cook... but great at doing groceries and cleaning the dishes!)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I kinda "couchsurf" all the time, but only staying in houses of friends of my own friends or acquaintances. I've also received people at my place with the same system. I used the website once in Brasil before and it was a great experience! My host remains my friend and he even came to visit me once... wich was awesome!
Interests
Literature, literature, literature! But I also like other forms of expression, meeting new people, travelling, dancing, playing sports and experimenting new food.
- culture
- literature
- dancing
- dining
- cooking
- traveling
- sports
Music, Movies, and Books
A list would be crazy... But every writter, musician or paintor who's made the effort (and probably failed, but made something great in the way) to understand the world by writting, singing or painting. Specially, if her or his greatest concern is Latin America.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Some of the places I've travelled to had given me great things to see an people to meet. Maybe nothing like that guy living in a lost mountain town in northwest Argentina, knowing nothing but the sky, the mountain, daily work in his corn plantation, his healthy wife, 8 kids, and the 80 or so co-inhabitants of the town he'd never left in his whole life, were he is probably one of the happiests men alive.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, I love to teach and learn. I'm even doing that professionaly! Culture, starting with litterature, is what I like most. I don't like being such a bad cook, so I think that's somethhing I'd love to learn.
