I was born in an island, raised in the Spanish "inner plateau", lived many of my best years in the Dutch Lowlands, and a year and a half Gdańsk, PL. That means I have a Mediterranean soul under Germanic influence (and more recently, Slavic). I’ve been in Madrid for the past few years. I´m (very) open-minded, tolerant and easy-going and enjoy like-minded people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used to be more active a few years ago, when I met a lot of CSs through friends, because I wasn't able to host. I've recently decided to start hosting sporadically. I always enjoy meeting new people from all over the world, exchanging experiences, creating new ones... And helping people out.

Interests

I´m a linguist by profession, I'm into technology and computers, and I try to travel as much as I can. I´m in love with Amsterdam, Bangkok and Barcelona. I enjoy good food, good coffee and good wine. And I enjoy going out for beers as much as staying in and watching a good movie. Or three. Beers tend to be more than three.

Music: electronic, experimental, post-rock, downtempo... E.g. Sigur Rós, M83, Paradis, The XX.

Movies: Tones of them. I recently fell in love with Terra, by Yann Arthus-Bertrand.

Books: Anything from José Saramago, Gabriel García Márquez, Hermann Hesse, Günter Grass... I read about 50 books a year so definitely into a good read!
