About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To write, to write, to write.

ABOUT ME

Okay, so I love to travel. I love meeting new people from different cultures, so well, couch surfing is the perfect place for me! I work for a newspaper in London but I'm kind of on a sabbatical. I'm plotting my first novel and seriously considering moving out to somewhere like Barcelona for a bunch of months.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I remember whilst backpacking through Poland and being alone in a new city. I found an Internet cafe and got on couch surfing, found an event and for the next four days, I was surrounded by new friends from all over the world. That is amazing. Being able to reach out, find like minded new friends, finding new people from a totally different part of the world with a totally different mind set and just connecting. Whilst travelling, it's great to be a part of a community. Whilst home in London, it's great being able to offer this community feel to travellers and visitors to this great city. Couch surfing is simply a genius idea. No, it's more than that. It's a movement.

Interests

Primarily, it's my writing, but I'm interested in so much stuff that it is crazy. I love being able to learn from new people, to connect and learn about their lives, to never dismiss an idea and to embrace difference as new knowledge, so though I'm a writer, I'd like to say, yeah, I'm a converser. I live in conversation. The sharing of viewpoints and insights, whether it be philosophical, political or about when the Chili Peppers are gonna' bring out a new album! 2011 is a looong time ago, guys...

I should add: movies, theatre, gigs, drinking waaay too much, crazy dancing, exploring stuff and recently, yoga. Yes, yoga. It's fun! :)
