About Me
***GUYS I'M SORRY, BUT PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO MY CURRENT FLATMATE SITUATION UNFORTUNATELY I CAN'T HOST, BUT I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO BE BACK TO HOSTING AS SOON AS I CAN :D***
CURRENT MISSION
Traveling around the world, meeting people, learning, loving and laughing. Speaking fluently 5 languages is also part of the mission.
ABOUT ME
I'm an Argentinian guy living in Glasgow for 2 years now. I came here for my master's but somehow got a job and decided to stay. I am a talkative, curious, adventurous and fun person. Not a morning person at all. I'm 27 years old, and I love all kind of sports, especially football and tennis. But what I love most is learning languages - it allows you to communicate with people and appreciate the world from a different angle. I have a dog (although she's not here in UK with me), and I hate having dinner alone. Vegetables soup is the best meal ever!
PHILOSOPHY
If you are out to describe the truth, leave the elegance to the tailor. Imagination is more important than knowledge.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I surf and host. My first CS experience was a very weird one, explained below.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first couchsurfing experience was in Barcelona in 2013, but it's not in my records as I got there by a friend's account, who I stayed with. It wasn't the best experience actually: the guy was saying one thing (like "i really enjoy spending time with surfers") and 5 minutes after straight the opposite ("I don't like to say too much about me, I need my time and space. So go to do something"). No joke. Further more, he wouldn't let us have a shower (it was summer!), and when he reluctanctly agreed it was just a 1 minute -literally- cold shower, with no curtain and on your knees -as he ordered- not to wet the floor. He got us up at 8, usually screaming senseless things in the room, and made us leave, and not return until around 10 pm. There was no kitchen, everything was extremely dirty, he slept totally naked in the same room we did -with no previous advice of that-, and he encouraged us to drink on the street, which wasn't allowed, so the police made us a fee. As we went out, he got extremely drunk and started to eat food out of the trash, and took two pizza boxes and ketchup from the rubbish of some restaurant or whatsoever, and ate one of them and offered us the other one. It was incredibly weird and uncomfortable but, from every couchsurfer I have spoken to, it seems that I'm the only one who have "suffered" this: all the rest had really normal and great stories. So I'm looking forward to have a "revenge" on it, and have a better experience and I am really enjoying it. I must say that I am accomplishing that mission so far :D

Music, Movies, and Books
I don't have a certain preference about music bands, just electronics is not my first choice. However, after two years living in Europe, I am discovering now that I can have a great time listening to it. Specially at parties.
Movies, a lot: Titanic, Men in Black, The Fourth Kind, The Others, 9 Reinas, suspense movies are the best.
Books? Ficciones, of Jorge Luis Borges. But nowadays I'm reading a lot of books of history, politics and politicians.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Parachuting/Skydiving! I love doing that, even though after some problems on my knee I haven't done it again.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: English, Spanish, football, tennis, ping pong, culture.
Learn: EVERYTHING! But mostly languages, and culture.
Share: meals! It's so special to eat with someone, and even more special to cook for someone.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can show them some awesome places in Argentina that they probably don't know. I can cook some traditional dishes, and I can tell them my stories.
