About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Erase all borders. I haven't quite figured out how it's going to happen yet. As for my traveling. I want to meet new people, learn new and interesting things, and have a good time.

ABOUT ME

Maybe I'll ask my friends to write this part for me.

Technical details that may be important to you: I'm an organized, clean, non-smoker, who is considerate of others. In other words, I wont make a mess, and I don't smell.

If you have any questions, let me know.

PHILOSOPHY

Depend on the kindness of strangers. I kind of stole that from "Gone with the Wind", but it's a pretty good one. Especially for anyone on the road. In general, just try to be the best that I can be, even if I'm not the best at what I'm doing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first one was in Paris, France. I still find myself amazed that people invite strangers, even if it's me, to stay in their homes. My host was very nice, and I'll never forget the experience. Have fun.

Interests

I'll try and make this short. At home, I'm more of a couch-potato than a couch-surfer. But, I do actually like to do a lot of things. When it's nice out, I like to ride my mountain bike. I'd go swimming, but where I live the ocean is so cold that it hurts. That, and there are some scary big fish in there. Other interests of mine, you can pretty much throw in under arts and sciences.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really liked "Donnie Darko". But, it's hard for me to say what my favorite movie is. I'm looking forward to seeing "Corpse Bride" by Tim Burton.

Music: You might say "The Smashing Pumpkins" are my favorite band. They are the first band I bought an album from. So, I have a soft spot for their music, even if they aren't a band anymore. Although, their web-page says they're re-forming.

Books: I've read a few books while traveling. "Ella Minno Pea", "The Athenian Murders", "Hullabaloo in the Guava Orchard", and I saw one in a book store that I want to read called "About a Boy", by Nick Hornby.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For me, some of the most amazing experiences I've had were back at home, in college. I took an acting class that I'll always remember, since it sparked a kind of wonder-lust inside of me for performing arts. After that, I took modern dance and movement. I haven't staid in practice with dancing, but I still enjoy acting, when I make time for it. Although, the last couple of times I've been involved with stage performances, I was operating the lighting board, and setting up/breaking down the set. I designed a set for a play once. I think I was better at that than I was at acting. I have a lot of work to do before I'll be able to say I'm good at acting. I'm a little self-conscious, and inhibited.
