ABOUT ME

I now live in Paris and work as a teacher in second grade (CE1 in France, 7 y.o. kids). It IS a lot of work to make them talk, read and count better than then currently do, so I don't have a lot of time for myself and, therefore, for couchsurfing.

Becoming a teacher is a professional retraining : I've been studying human resources for 2 years before realizing that I didn't fit with the corporate lifestyle... Even before that, I studied philosophy for three years.

Apart from that, I'm a rather peaceful and simple person. Above all things I love talking and joking over a drink or a meal. In a bar, in a restaurant, at home, anywhere.

At first I was indirectly involved in the CS project, my flatmate was an active member and I didn't feel the need to create my own profile. Now he's gone so I have to handle it myself !

Hosting, surfing, a couple of CS parties in Vancouver.

Interests

Any kind of conversation : your life, mine, our favorite joke and anything else. I actually love to talk about politics, especially when the conversation doesn't lead anywhere (most of the time, really).

Aside from that, my main hobby was analog photography (when I find some time for it). Nothing artistic. I just love to keep some souvenirs and play with highly toxic substances.

Music, Movies, and Books

I can do hardly nothing without listenning to music. I especially like black music : funk, soul, hip hop, a bit of jazz, but these are exemples among many others. I'm eager for musical discoveries.
