COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Been using couchsurfing all over Europe and the states, but was using my ex's account, so mine is sparse - all good though, time to rebuild and renew.

When not riding bikes I love to play chess, longboard, and read waaaay too serious books including: philosophy, history, political economy, economics, and race/gender theory.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiking on the John Muir trail with my father a few years ago was intense. We had been off the grid for about a week and his ankle was killing him. We packed poorly and got to a pass that was about a 2000 foot incline with nasty switchbacks the whole way. We didn't think my pops was going to be able to hike out if we stopped and his ankle froze up over night. So I cam-strapped his bag to mine and I charged up as quick as I could. At the top of the pass I dropped our packs and then went back down and helped pops limp his way along. We finished the path to the trailhead in the dark, beaten and broken. Our relationship was forged significantly.
Awestruck. Ever ridden a longboard from San Francisco's Nob Hill through the financial district? Awestruck awesome.
Teach, Learn, Share
All kinds, but most especially ones I disagree with...we learn more from them than ones we agree with.
