Movies- Well, that's always a hard question. Some of my favourites: 500 Days of Summer, King's Speech, Annie Hall (and more Woody Allen films), Big Fish, the Dark Knight trilogy, The Lord of the Rings, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Imitation Game, Monsters INC., Theory of Everything

Books- I'm a big Harry Potter fan, I grew up reading those books, and they always cheer me up. Then the Lord of the Rings, Name of the Wind series. I've read and loved everything that Robert Fulghum wrote!
