I am a student from Germany.
I grew up on a little organic farm in the south of Germany and then moved to a slightly bigger city called Magdeburg which is close to Berlin to do my bachelor. And I had the opportinity to spend the past semester in Montréal, which was definitely an amazing experience! I used the free time afterwards to travel around the south east of the US. Currently I am doing my masters in Göttingen. I am open minded and easy to get along with. I love drawing, photography, long night walks and wine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To get to know people! To see different lifestyles, to have enlightening or light conversations, whatever comes up.
I want to hear different opinions, see new ways of doing things, share experiences and have interesting discussions.
It's nice to meet locals and to see more than just the touristy stuff. I always want to know what a place is like for living instead of only seeing the fancy sights.
And as soon as I have the necessary space, I definitely plan to host.

Interests

I love how when you meet people while travelling, you often just skip the smalltalk and go straight to the real conversations.
My interests are widely spread. I generally enjoy discussing current events, sharing experiences, hearing people's story, their views.
There is so much to learn and to see, and I think travelling is one of the most efficient ways to do that!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all sorts of electronic music, but depending on my mood, I also enjoy other genres.
My preferred book genre would be fantasy.
I don't really watch a lot of movies, but my favourite one would probably be Harry Potter.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach you German and as I enjoy drawing, I can certainly do a portrait of anyone who is interested, i can't guarantee a hundred percent that it will ressemble you though. I can do the dishes, cook and help around the house.
