About Me
HEY my favorite people in the world, HEY Couchsurfing family!
Time to update my Couchsurfing profile a bit, since I'm travelling now for over one month through Brazil and Uruguay. When I heard about Couchsurfing it seemed to be like a easy possibility to avoid costs for the hostel and keep on travelling instead with this saved money for a longer period of time. Now I know, that this point is the last and most unimportant one, which makes couchsurfing so unbelieveable precious. I can say about me as a person: I'm an optimist, I love humans and I have a very positive thinking about the world and the life. I guess you see me 83% of the day only smiling, the other 17% where my face looks neutral is when I'm hungry, or I have my I-want-to-take-a-nap-afternoon-down. Giving Percentages about my happiness let me look very German and honestly I'm really proud to be German. But i have to disappoint you when you expect to meet a real stereotype german girl. Unspecific for germans is that I'm never in time, because i take everything very easy. Similar to you Latinos I really love talking about every topic of the world and I don't like the moments of completly silence. I hate half things, so I try to make the best of all the things I've started from the beginning to the end. I like the fact, that you can change your style of living from one to the other second, because you can take your own decision what you want, who and how you want to be as a person. Noone else is responsible for your successes and also mistakes they are mostly only in your hand. I think I couldn't tell anything about all this things about me, when i wouldn't have done couchsurfing. I'm 19 years old, what is pretty young. But immensing for a few days in your daily life, having conversation with you about your experiences and your expecatations of the world all this sights and ways of thinking inspire me, let my personality grow and expand my horizont. Of course the impressive nature, the delicious food and the different buildings make travelling worth it. But in the end, all the people I met were the ones who were making my trip. The best way to improve yourself is to learn from each other. It is to early to say couchsurfing changed my life but what i can already say about me, it definately changed my way of thinking of life. Life isn't about money or any material things it is about feelings, emotions and relations about trusting and helping each other about giving and sharing. Because I'm sure one time everything comes back to you. I have learned to stop comparing me with others, instead I compare myself with yesterday and try to get day by day a better person. This is a love letter to every single couchsurfer i met and i'm going to meet in the future. Travelling is about adventuring and exploring but you can travel as much as you want, there comes a time where you meet someone who shows you a completly new world.
