Music, Movies, and Books

I love all types of music, but I fall back most on bands like LCD Soundsystem, Tame Impala, Father John Misty, and most psych rock. I grew up in Memphis, Tennessee, so I do have a soft spot for some hip-hop as well.

My favorite movies are any of the Lord of the Rings movies, as well as anything Wes Anderson touches. I'll always choose a smaller film over a blockbuster, but I'll really make any excuse to get to a movie theater to eat popcorn.

My favorite book of all time is East of Eden by John Steinbeck. Come at me if you disagree.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I did when I was eighteen was push off going to college to do a section hike of the Appalachian Trail. I only did a short 275 miles, but man it was awesome.
