I'm a salesperson at a bicycle shop in Delft and I have an acupunture/massage practice at home in pijnacker. In my spare time I love to design, hike and write.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My goal is to travel all 50 United States on my bicycle. In 2006 I rode my bicycle from Florida to California, the Southern Tier (and wrote a book about it, this is where the writing part comes in). I did a couple of smaller routes like the Blue Ridge Parkway and parts of the Transamerica Trail (Adventure Cycling). My next ride will be Route 66 from the end of September through December 2024 traveling from Chicago to LA.
Besides looking for a place to spend the night in the USA I'd love to welcome people from all over the world in my home. I'm interested in learning new languages and practicing them in real time instead of just using an app.
