About Me
Hello !
I'm a French Canadian of 33 years old who wants to learn about everything =P
I love to garden and to read (I'm a big fan of epic fantasy and science fiction, and I like to discover new authors of different genres all the time !), I'm a gamer (PC, if you're wondering :P) and I also do photography. I am very lucky and have wonderful friends with whom to share a wide number of different activities. I like to try things and I try to keep a kind of Yes mentality.
I love people, but I don't mind spending time alone either. I don't wait on people to plan stuff, I make plans and if people wanna join in, the more the merrier !
I worked for almost 10 years in rehabilitation services to people with an intellectual impairment and/or are on the autism spectrum. I have an MBA from HEC Montréal and am now working in continuous improvement in our health care system.
You can follow my adventures on instagram @judithonajourney, but I mostly only post stuff when I'm on the road.
And I'm a vegetarian, but I don't judge people who aren't! ;) I still eat cheese, eggs and ice cream ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm hoping to find friendly people with whom to spend some time in the different cities I'll visit! Meeting people from the couchsurfing community has been a great way for me to travel, and I want to create more of those memories!

Music, Movies, and Books
So hard to decide !! I just love all kinds of musics and books, but I must say I particularly love The Strokes, Rainbow Kitten Surprise and Jacques Brel in music, and Brandon Sanderson is absolutely my favorite author, he is just magnificent !
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This is a hard question. Does bikepacking for 500 km count? Or travelling over 17000 km in 5 weeks alone with my car through the United States? Guess it depends on who's reading this :P
I guess I could also talk about how four years ago I hurt both my ankles and couldn't walk far for 2 years. With two years of training, I'm now able to trek again !
And if we talk about my professional life, my MBA at HEC Montréal was soooo intense. I was studying part-time (means 25-30 hours a week) and working full time. I loved the experience, love the people I studied with and love all the things I got to learn in this amazing school !
