About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I have just joined CouchSurfing, and my goal is to host people here in Malaysia, and to also meet and stay and become life long friends with locals from the countries I visit :)
To Travel to as many countries as possible while gaining various kinds of experiences and meeting people from different walks of life,
To have as much fun and to enjoy and play music whenever I can,
To help people,
To be happy :)
ABOUT ME
I like meeting people, and especially people from other countries apart from my own as I can learn more about their culture and how their traditions and values affect their lifestyle. In addition, I enjoy hiking and traveling( which pretty much explains why I am here haha). I just graduated from college in the States, and am back home in Malaysia. My plan is to take a gap year to to travel Asia, and many other places. Anyways if you are looking for someone to backpack Asia with, let me know as I am! :)
PHILOSOPHY
I find myself relating to a lot of the philosophies of Buddhism and Taoism, and the idea of being selfless, and balanced. I try to make the best of out of life, even with whatever limitations it gives me. Life is always going to be a series of ups and downs, and what I've learned over the years, is how important it is to be positive, and to be able to to surrender to whatever situation the universe brings to you. Everything is a life-learning experience, even though its painful.
In addition, I believe that it's very important to really do the things that you want to do and that you are passionate about. For example, people believe in saving for the future or for retirement, and then to finally travel. We never know what happens in the future, and that's why its important to enjoy your present state, and to do everything you want to do as soon as possible.
