ABOUT ME

I am 5ft.3in and at 130-lbs..still in pretty good shape...must be the muscles I developed as a carpenter. People say that I am friendly, and I keep friends for a lifetime. I tend to see the good in people until proven otherwise. I can say that throughout my life I have never been bored. I know how to keep myself entertained with my various interests. I am fortunate to have two lovely daughters that have blessed me with six grandchildren. Travel is a passion and meeting new people and making new friends along the way is an added bonus.

PHILOSOPHY

Even though now I am in my 60's, I plan to enjoy the next 40 years or more living life to the fullest...making new friends is a passion...learning new cultures a privilege.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a host and a couch surfer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First couch surfing experience was in Perpignan, France. What a wonderful city. My host, Ystell was a joy. Summer 2009 traveled by car across the country with my 14 year old grandson couch to couch...we traveled across the United States from the Pacific Ocean to Atlantic Ocean and back to west coast. I clocked over 7,000 miles on my Dodge and all our experiences with couch surfing was positive....these were wonderful memories for my grandson and myself.

Travel, photography, art, antiques, collecting, sewing, needlework, painting and drawing, woodworking, carpentry, remodeling and construction, stain glass, piano, computers, television, welding, gardening, cooking, baking, family and grand kids. Sports: watching sprint-car racing, walking, swimming, camping, and dance.
