About Me

CURRENT MISSION

enjoy whatever comes, make the best out of everything...do things, I have never done before... and share the experience with everyone I love

ABOUT ME

Shit, that's difficult... bits and pieces of everything. I can talk a lot, always make new plans and keep myself occupied. But sometimes I just want some silence. I'm laughing a lot and usually look at the bright sight of life. I like meeting people, I like learning new things. Sometimes I just want to hide myself behind a computer screen or a book.
Sometimes I just want to party hard. Sometimes the only thing I want to see is a rainforest, some animals or a lonely beach.
I like to call myself an artist, but compared to a romantic picture of drifting through life, I like having my feet on the ground.

PHILOSOPHY

Everybody has his own reality. This is my basic understanding of the world and how people act. Everyone acts according to his experience and opinions, if it helps him, than it is ok (of course not, if he hurts other people or nature). I think the most important thing is, stop judging. Stop judging others, stop judging yourself. We can easily build up a lot of pressure by evaluating everything we do, everything we have done, experienced, thought about, and so on. If we stop judging ourselves, we can find a way to accept and love us, the way we should be (or the person we want to be). In return this would make other things more easy. Without pressure, you can open up to the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Actually I have done CouchSurfing in a very spontanous way. There were two times, when I couldn't find a free bed in a hostel and some people simply picked us up. After that I joined the couchsurfing community for travelling reasons and I have to say, all my experiences have been absolutely awesome. I enjoyed the hospitality of everyone and I like to give back by cooking for people (especially since due to my travels I miss having a proper kitchen).

Interests

I think, what keeps me going a lot is my longing for travelling. But sometimes it doesn't seem to give me enough purpose. And then I like to do a lot of other things, drawing, sewing, cooking, reading, designing (I really enjoy good design). I recently started producing and mixing music, which seems like taking up a lot of my time.

Music, Movies, and Books

let's go by director: David Lynch, Takeshi Kitano, Quentin Dupieux, Wes Andersson. Movies with some special humor and movies that make me think.

I love the style of the beat-generation author. Electric Cool Aid Acid Test, Drop City, three man in a boat (funniest book ever) and a lot of the work of Haruki Murakami, Irre, Naokos Lächeln, and so on

... music... too much too say, sometimes I love the 60s/70s-hippy-music, stoner rock, techno, psytrance and whatever good comes my way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Doing my diving license.

Teach, Learn, Share

I try learning how to hoop. In return, I guess my cooking skills are quite ok (I try to learn different recipes from different countries and really enjoy genuine food). And I can do some henna tattoos for you.

Australia, Austria, Bulgaria, China, England, France, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Italy, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Serbia, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United States, Viet Nam
