About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Currently my husband (Jason) and I live in Amman, Jordan, where we are working for a small nonprofit that helps refugees. Trying to learn Arabic while we are here!

ABOUT ME

I married my high school sweetheart in 2005, right after graduating college. From June 2013 to November 2014 we traveled around the world, finally landing back in Seattle. In June 2017, we moved to Amman, Jordon.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm sort of a Catholic, but sort of not. I believe that the best things you can do on this earth are reading, traveling, and meeting new people. Live the life you want to live now.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Back in Seattle I liked to host. I can't really host where I live now, but I love meeting new people and couchsurfing while traveling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing was one of our favorite parts of traveling. It feels a little like traveling to host people.

Interests

Books, writing, snowshoeing, hiking, cooking, etymology, religion (study thereof, not necessarily practicing myself), shoes.
