Hello! My name is Juyoung and I am a Korean girl with a very international background. I was born in Korea, but grew up in many different places throughout my life including the U.S., China, Hong Kong, and now, I am living in the Netherlands! Before starting my masters, I used to be a journalist and I love it! I am now studying studying critical heritage studies to combine my love for culture and history with journalism!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I actually joined couchsurfing in the year 2011 and have travelled within Korea and to other countries several times. But I lost my log in details at one point and just could not figure it out, so I just decided to create a new one! It may look like I am a new couchsurfer, but that's not true! I've even been verified by the couchsurfing community and had quite a few comments from my hosts, although that doesn't show in my current account sadly:(
I want to rejoin the couchsurfing community to meet the locals during my travels and befriend new people!

Music, Movies, and Books

Fav. Music: Anything but K-pop, I gravitate towards hip hop and classical music.
Movies: I like crime/investigative and medical type of genres
Books: Huge LoR, Harry Potter fan.
