Born and bred in Santa Cruz (Bolivia), an amazing city rich in culture and tradition with the most amazing food and hospitable people. At age 20 I moved to Taipei to study and learn or improve my Chinese. It was a cultural shock, but slowly very slowly I started to fall in love with the city (If you are reading this, you should visit Taipei. It won't disappoint!). Being born in Latin America and having lived in Asia for so many years changed me in many ways, making me more open minded, patient and adaptable. In July last year I left my job to travel and work in Australia. Traveling planted a seed of thirst for adventures, for discovering the unknown which helped me being a bit more fearless and putting myself out there whatever the outcome. Now i am back home and just can't stop thinking about my next destination. It will be hard to settle for a job when all I wish to do is to be hopping on the next plane, destination anywhere :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet friends, learn, teach and share experiences. I love to hear people's experiences and the places they've been to and things they've done. I had joined couchsurfing events where I met great people.

Interests

I love food! I like discovering new cuisines and restaurants. I am not much of a cook, but I am trying. As much as I love food, I love my after work beer or wine on special occasions. Other things I enjoy are running, hiking, walking, surfing, playing soccer, reading a good book. Enjoy catching up with friends and meeting new people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not really amazing but some exciting and great experiences: Traveling solo and getting lost 90% of the time (before google maps, now down to 30%?), skydiving in Darwin, cliff jumping in Bali, swimming in the caves of Wadi Shab, dunes bashing & camel riding in Dubai, hiking and feeling the end of the world at the end of my feet...
