About Me

I was born and raised in Beijing, obtained my bachelor’s degree in advertising from Peking University and master’s degree in art education from the University of Florida in USA in 2003. I taught Chinese language, art and culture at a Montessori School in Washington D.C. for over 2 years. Since 2009, I have been working as a freelance teacher, translator, writer and artist. I teach Chinese, English, art, Taichi, calligraphy, cooking, origami, and dancing meditation.
I love nature, sports, and reading too.
Used to be a serious soccer fan, I followed the Italian soccer team for many years, and even all the way to Korea to watch their worldcup game there in 2002!...

In 2006, I worked as a volunteer sailor on the legendary Swedish ship Gothenburg.
I’m a patient teacher, skillful craftwoman, inspiring writer/translator, passionate dancer and artist, computer savvy, Non-smoker.
I’d love to share the real beauty of my culture: language, cooking, origami, dance, hands-on activities and so much more.
