About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel, Seek, Explore, Host!

ABOUT ME

I'm a twenty-something making my way through the world. The travel bug bit a couple of years ago...my first trip abroad was to Israel and Jordon and it was a solo excursion (I couchsurfed with friends). It was probably the most amazing experience of my life. I loved every single second!

PHILOSOPHY

Let me tell you the secret that has led me to my goal. My strength lies solely in my tenacity. - Louis Pasteur

On December 1st I'm leaving with a one-way ticket to London, my passport, and not much else. I don't have much money, but I want to travel and I like to believe if you want something bad enough, you can make it happen out of sheer tenacity.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Actually, my roommates Kevin and Jenn typically handle couchsurfing inquiries for the house! You can find them on my Friends list!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've crashed on many a couch, nothing very exotic, but always very appreciated. Now that I've got my own couch, I want to share the goodwill!

Interests

hiking up steep things, drinking whiskey around the campfire, soloing-passing-scoring, snowshoeing the wonderland trail, paddling, perfecting my eskimo roll, taking pictures of things, sleeping in, playing games, drinking beer with friends, kickboxing, reading janet fitch, smelling the flowers, trotting the globe, sunning myself silly on white sandy beaches, skinny dipping, re-learning spanish, trying to learn thai, giving up on learning to speak thai and eating thai food instead...

Music, Movies, and Books

Anything I can get my hands on!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Petra was pretty amazing, as was the Old City in Jerusalem. Snorkeling in the Red Sea, also very cool. If you've never seen the Grand Canyon, you should. I have a feeling the most amazing things are yet to come for me...

Teach, Learn, Share

I work in nonprofit development- fundraising- and I love showing people how they can make their dreams and visions come alive. I love learning from others. I shared a sherut from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem with a woman who sized me up in about 10 seconds...it was amazing. I love sharing stories about the people I've met and the people who've shaped my life, near and far.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Israel, Jordan
