I'm curious and I love diversity, so I delight in meeting people from different backgrounds and cultures, in seeing nature in all her forms, and observing creativity however it manifests. Most of all though, I like to be open to fun - it's a state of mind.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm travelling for the next 3 months in Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia, I don't want just to see the sights I really want to experience it at first hand, so meeting local hosts will be great. When I get back I have space for travelers and the cultural exchange will continue . . .

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet, but I've enjoying the tales of my sons who are both couchsurfing, one in India, the other in Brazil.

Interests

Yoga, cycling, gardening, hill walking, painting, sculpture, world music, dancing, creating alternative structures, reading, cooking (and eating!) clean wholesome food and hanging out with friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

Zouk, cumbia, rai, son, any good dance tunes really. Some of Almodovar's movies, enjoyed Twin Town and In Bruges. I like contemporary novels that're well written.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One great adventure was driving my 2 teenage sons to Budapest in an old mail van.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach English grammar and how to use a heat gun for welding pvc. I'd like to learn more regional dishes, and techniques for creating in whatever medium, from fine textiles to adobe.
