ABOUT ME

Depending on when you come, I often have time to help show you around our Capital City - Canberra. We can sit by the pool and chat, take a walk, cook up a storm, check out the sights etc.

My daughter and I would love to welcome you to our home.

Good food, wine and company - but no party animals OK.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a pragmatist not a philosopher! Make a plan and get on with it.
Enjoy life. Smell the roses. Hang out with good people. Life is too short to eat bad food and drink bad wine.
Oh yeh - and so that I'm not grumpy, get enough sleep.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCH surfing

Come for a few days, swim in the pool, look around our capital city. There's much to do here.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfers from Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Canada and Australia have stayed with us. I have surfed a little as well.

Our recent trips include Vietnam, paris, Copenhagen, Seattle and San Franscisco.

Interests

Hey, the obvious - travel! Also children, sport, having fun, pets, cooking, entertaining, languages, making life and work easier for others.

Yes please. Like all three. Monty Python, blockbusters for the cheap escapism, art house for the odd stories and amazing scenery.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I travelled a lot as a child and found it opened my eyes to how comfortable my life was, how many of my friends didn't value what they had and were ignorant of the plight of others.

We provide a foster home for children who cannot live with their family. Many stay for a few weeks, some for 6 months. You never quite know what can happen! I enjoy finding the wonderful spirit in each child.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am an expert in email protocol, white collar workplace prodcutivity and Microsoft Outlook.

We're well read, knowledgeable about all sorts of odd things. Is there something you want to learn?

Learn one of our many boardgames? Teach us a card game? Jam with my daughter on her saxaphone.
