I am happily married, living in northwest Sioux Falls, SD with our one dog. Travel is something I have enjoyed doing with my family, and we are looking forward to doing more in the future. We enjoy meeting and learning from people from different parts of the world. Living simple but healthy lives is something we strive for. I teach English as a Second Language and my husband is a pastor in a busy downtown church.

We have four grown kids and one grandchild.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I signed up years ago with plans to use it to meet people in Norway. Now we simply use it to meet and host interesting people.

Interests

Music - playing the piano, singing with my husband, dancing. Learning new languages - currently Spanish and French.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I've done with my family is spend a month in Cameroon, Africa, visiting the family of our African son.

Teach, Learn, Share

I home schooled my kids for many years, and also teach Norwegian to adults and children through immersion camps. My masters is in teaching second languages.

What I Can Share with Hosts
