_____________________________________________
Hi guys, my name is Jürgen (it's a typical Austrian/German Name) and currently I am 26 years old. I am not an Journalist - this is kinda wrong, because I am much more than just a job description - but well I am working as a Journalist at the Media Company KURIER.
My profession is to write about politics, philosophy and media - the best combination for my personality. I am well educated and grew up in a working class family. Therefore I am really happy that I got the chance to study. It is not as easy as you may think. If you want to know more about me, my job, my education, my hobbies, Austria et cetera text me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Long story short: I have this beautiful friend (Irina) who let me alone in Singapore so I checked a profile on couchsurfing.com and slept on many couches.
I like it, I enjoyed so many different beds, couches, bathrooms, songs, languages. It is kinda a painting book which have to be filled and you can do that.
Interests
I am an ascetic because it is interesting to minimise your life as possible as you can do. Avoid e.g. Gluten or fish, train hard every day (if possible) and enjoy the simple everyday life without stuff like candies or other marketing sh**.

Music, Movies, and Books
Actually I am reading Michel Foucault, it is... well difficult. I also like "Engel des Vergessens" by Maja Haderlap. The author told the story of her life as an member auf den South Carinthian Minority. I grew up in a small town near her village and the connection between her story and my family is huge. Very impressing and sad.
Movies: Everything except Horror. I can not understand why people are watching horror movies. I confess that I am a little bit afraid of creaky doors.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I felt asleep while I was riding a bike after a party. I crashed into a fence and got a scar on my cheek. Well but I do not know if this is one thing I could call "amazing". It just happened because I was really tired and the way home was exhausting.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like philosophy very much. It is not just a study on the university. It is like living with the question: "Why do we do that?"
If people say something strange it is really important to know what she/he's talking about but for me it is more important why is he or she talking about it?
And I also can share my life in Vienna, the beautiful capital of Austria, honest ;)
What I Can Share with Hosts
My lovely hosts, I like you very much. I would like talking with you and exploring the city in which you will host me for a while. I can teach you German if you want. The sound of this language makes you more comfortable and interesting. It is the language of great poets and authors.
