Overview
About Me
In Latin America I'm known as La gringa loca, or the crazy american girl, but while at University I was a very serious and dedicated student. I'm spunky, fun, and very sociable. I always make new friends on trips because I love meeting new people!
I spend 6-10 months out of the country traveling and the rest visiting family or working. I just finished up my fourth season as a ski instructor at Beaver Creek in Colorado and am currently traveling through Europe.
When I’m home, I love showing people around my beautiful state. I’ve worked as a tour guide and an outdoor activities guide (biking, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, etc).
I'm also a German citizen! I'm the black sheep in the family and rather than studying abroad in Germany for a year I headed down to South America and speak Spanish rather than German.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love showing people around! Whether I’m in Vermont, Chile, Mexico, or Europe, I love to explore!
I love meeting new people and listening to their stories, while sharing my own. I have met some really good friends through couchsurfing and hope to continue meeting more people.
While I was living in Argentina, I went to multiple couchsurfing events. My first few months living in Argentina were very difficult, but couchsurfing events kept me busy and introduced me to some awesome people. I am very grateful to have the couchsurfing community no matter where I go!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've hiked the grand canyon when I was younger. I hiked down one afternoon and hiked back out the next morning. It's one of the hardest things I have ever done.
Participating in el invierno chileno and protesting for Public Education Rights.
I lived in a 38' catamaran in the Caribbean. It was an amazing experience!
Teach, Learn, Share

What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a super fun, spunky, outgoing person. I'm always excited to see new sights and try new things.
I was raised by a born again Christian mother and a liberal, non-religious, hippy father so I've been exposed to many viewpoints and opinions and am very accepting and open.
