im 33 years old male born in very finnish community in michigan, united states.raised on the old style finnish farm...so i have great respect for hard work and the forest... i am very easy going. and i love to learn about history and cultures..

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed couches mainly in finland and spain through this site, but prior to joining i surfed in germany,sweden and canada as well, I live in the country side aways from town(houghton) so i have only hosted a couple from denmark and a few students from ohio...i am always up to hosting more though...

Interests

i like the out doors hiking long distances hitchhiking long distances and listing to music beatles,hendrix,pink floyd,J.Karjalainen,lauri tahka ja elonkerju and lots of finnish bands as well as traditional finnish humpas,polkas,jenkkas,tangos yah i know a bit strange? ,..also 80s rock,and o.k..... some 80s pop : ) and metal ....pantera,metallica,lordi amongst many others

comedy,luke and owen wilson,monty python,british humor,i like to read ww2 history books...rise and fall of the third riech took a few months but was worth the read...also i recommend history of finns in michigan...
