ABOUT ME

안녕/Hello/Hola!
Hello, I'm Juhee Park from South Korea and right now I just finished my semester in the United States(Dover, DE) for a semester as an international student. I grew up in a big city called Seoul, the capital city of South Korea, second most populated city in the whole world!, and have been traveling pretty much.

To explain me in one sentence; I'm a really bad procrastinator, who always takes risks and responsibilities, because of myself procrastinating. I hate this personality but I partially enjoy being a procrastinator and living on the edge. I'm very outgoing and easygoing. I can speak both English and Korean and a little bit of Spanish.

The most important part of me is that I love traveling, but I don't like looking around famous tourist attractions. I love to look around the place and see how people live there. When it comes to travel, I always put socializing as my number one priority. Also I love to travel spontaneously. I have traveled many times but never really had a planned trip yet.

PHILOSOPHY

Be myself when treating others; be yourself when treating me. That's all that matters.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

CS is a life savior for a broke traveler. I started Couch Surfing as a surfer while I was traveling Brazil and have surfed over a few times in different cities and countries.

Now I go back to New York City where I work, I can get to host surfers with my suitemate and I'm already so excited!!

Interests

I love watching baseball games and love to travel. I love sports but don't really play any sports. Baseball is my favorite sport and I pull for Hanhwa Eagles(한화 이글스), the lousiest team in pro Korean Baseball League, and also love LA Dodgers. Dodgers got a new leftie pitcher who used to be in Hanhwa Eagles. I normally watch more than 2 baseball games every day during the season and one thing I hate the most about baseball is highlights, because it doesn't really show the FLOW of the game.

Meeting new people from all around the world is what I love the most. I just love to travel. Normally people don't travel when they're broke. BUT I do travel even when I'm broke. That's why I end up getting in troubles all the time traveling, like getting stuck in snow storm or missing flights.....
