音乐、电影和书籍
I like Fight Club and Pulp Fiction. I think plotless-ness, almost to an absurd extent, embodies the nature of real life. I am currently reading Night Train to Lisbon, and this book has been resonating with what I think of life a lot. I love shoe-gazing bands and dubstep; if you are into electronic house, check Glen Check. I listen to all kind of music anyway.
我做过的一件不可思议的事情
Few days ago, I was on a bustling Seoul subway and accidentally saw two guys smiling at their smartphone. They seem little wacky at first because all they did was moving their facial muscles or making some gestures toward the phone screen. Then I realized that they were talking in sign language to someone on facetime. I quietly observed their faces, full of delight and pure pleasure in talking with a beloved one. This changed my stance on smartphone, which I had always thought as too much and an annoying privacy-intruding coy-capitalist device. But had there not been smartphone with its big-screen and fueling wi-fi networks, they might not have enjoyed the call; thinking that, I was convinced that maybe, that was what smartphone was all about. I still can't forget their faces after they hung up. I don't think I've ever seen smiles more beautiful and endearing than theirs. Well, I am unclear whether this can be counted as "amazing thing" (and I rambled, clearly) but recalling this moment always makes me happy.
