We are a married couple (27 and 30 years) from Tampere, Finland. I have been working in IT and my wife is working an accounting company. We both love travelling, meeting new people and learning about different cultures. We will be starting our gap year in November 2017. We will be travelling mostly in New Zealand for one year. We don't party a lot and we appreciate peaceful and healthy lifestyle.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are hoping to meet locals during our gap year in New Zealand, and do activities together. Hoping to meet nice people and learn about other cultures. After going back to Finland, we hope to meet guests from around the world and show them what Finland has to offer.

Teach, Learn, Share

Emilia usea to work as a chef on a restaurant, and we love cooking so we can teach you to prepare finnish dishes. We would also like to plan and do activities together with our guests/ hosts. Juho can teach programming.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Travel-stories and outdoor-tips. We will be glad to help our hosts with simple housework and other stuff.
