I'm 29. My official profession is being an Actor.
I'm on my Final Masters year in Theatre Academy Helsinki, University of Arts.

I like to workout, especially because my school has it's own gym and sauna.

As I surfer:
I'm very clean, tidy and organized. I respect peoples spaces and places. I'm down to chill 100% but depends what is the hosts vibe; I'm very adaptable.

And I'm vaccinated, if it's a concern.

First of all I'm kind and friendly and I'm very adaptive, super empathetic. I'm very thoughtful and sensible - some could say sensitive, I'd say I just have very sharp antennas.
I used to be the most extroverted person, now I find myself becoming more introverted, but travelling brings out the super expressive, passionately social part of me out. Especially if we are like minded.

I'm charged with a lot of energy (especially when I'm travelling! Unless I'm super tired from travelling - but even then I'm happy and enthusiastic!!)
I'm down to earth with my empathy and understanding for everything in human nature and anything in any nature. I am a grateful and a happy person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Simply I think It's the best way to travel and a genius idea.

You get to know locals and fellow travellers, which is one of the most important parts for me while travelling. You get a locals knowledge and perspective of the place - a more authentic experience. It doesn't cost anything, but it can give you everything.

+ A beautiful possibility to keep a travelling mindset even when hosting; seeing your hometown with foreign perspective and show all you know to somebody who is interested of your hometown.

I joined in 2013 but back then I used to travel a lot with friends, so mostly hostels were the go to. After that I've couchsurfed friends and hosted them, but not through the couchsurfing site :) So I started to really Couchsurf in 2023.

Music, Movies, and Books

Im a music nerd. Over 50% of music that I listen to is from the 60's, 70's, 80's or 90's. But I hunt new good music all the time.I'm an absolute Hip Hop geek. Classic Rock, Soul, Funk, Jazz, 80's Metal, Classical Music, New Wave, Indie, Pop etc etc. I used to collect vinyl.

I'm sort of a film geek too. I like the work of Wes Anderson, Taika Waititi, Werner Herzog, Steven Spielberg, Ang Lee, Stanley Kubrick, Spike Lee and John Singleton.
My favorite movie of all time used to be a French cult classic: "La Haine".
Other movies I've loved: Hunting For The Wilderpeople, Catch Me If You Can, Little Miss Sunshine, There Will Be Blood, City Of God, Boogie Nights, Pulp Fiction, Taking Woodstock, No Country For Old Men, Ghostwriter(Polanski), Annie Hall(Woody Allen) etc.

Fav series: Snowfall, The Wire, Andor, Lost, Chernobyl, Band of Brothers, Maniac.

Books? I have a library at my parents house. All our walls happen to be bookshelves because my father is a professor of visual art history. We have all the literary classics at home and anything you can imagine...

But I tend to read self help books now, tho before sleep it's better to read fiction to get the mind out of problem solving mode towards work for example.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I wildly stole the show from a legendary rap group Digital Underground once, by jumping on stage when "The Humpty Dance" came on. The Rapper Money B (who put 2Pac on back in the day) was so amazed by it he let me rap most of the song, my hometown crowd was backing me up too and bedazzled by the whole situation.
