We are a couple about to embark on our second R.T.W adventure. We love being outdoors and experiencing something new.

Lee is a witty bugger whom has a passion for music. He plays the guitar and sings in a band called The 40 Hertz I think he's pretty good. He also enjoys quizzes he can't get enough of them. Lees and old soul, Jazz blues Bowie.

I'm a say what they mean kinda girl but I am learning to become more diplomatic. Super laid back. I try to be healthy and care about the environment. Making our home more green. Attempting to spread a positive energy throughout. I Really want to get into yoga

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I began my journey on couchsurfing by opening my house up to some great people. When I was a child my mother always had an open house policy to my friends and it is such a positive way to live that a wanted to extended it to the rest of the world.

Several people opened their homes to my brother on his adventures of the world and I am forever grateful.

Interests

I love to bake and cook I really want to do a recipe book of our adventures. A world tour of food.

Lee loves to read

Travelling. Instead of reading about something or watching the discovery channel I want to have a hands on experience and learn from the people that live there, their stories and life experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

With regards to music we listen to all most anything. Super excited about the blues and jazz in the USA. Got to love Spotify, how you can discover all sorts of music so easily. Fyi i don't remember what i listen to, but Lee is a fountain of knowledge smashing in pub quizzes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My family run an off roading adventure company, Impala Adventures. I am so grateful that I get to go on the trips.
My favourite moment is walking up a dune in the Sahara to watch the sunrise, then observe the camp come to life as people begin their daily routines.
Lees favourite moment would definitely have to be hanging out the roof tent star gazing in the Messum Crater.

Within a year of Lee and his band getting together they have performed in some local festivals I think that is pretty dam amazing

Driving along side a herd of zebra in Namibia.

We helped rescue a camel that had been stuck in a river bed in Morocco for 3 days.
