About Me

Just graduated, I'm currently travelling the world for the next 6 months so I won't be able to host you. But I'll be back by April 2017. And if you happen to be round Mayotte, Madagascar, New Zealand or Myanmar in the next few months, I'll be glad to meet up.

I love travelling and I'd love to show people around my beautiful country!

PHILOSOPHY

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met a few couchsurfers at a rock festival in Belgium a few years ago. That's how I first heard of couchsurfing. I decided to join but never really participate until the summer of 2011 when I traveled the United States with a few friends, and we couchsurfed in many places along the way! We had the best times with the couchsurfers we stayed with. It's definitely one of the best experience one can live.

Music, Movies, and Books

As far as music goes I like about everything (Chanson francaise, Rock, Oldies, Disney songs, Pop, R'nB,...)

I have to admit that my favourite movie is Moulin Rouge but one of the most beautiful movies I've seen so far is Into the Wild. Along with that there are so many movies I like (Up, The Broken Circle Breakdown, Closer, Fight Club, Tangled, Kill Bill, Star Wars, Paris je t'aime, Beauty and the Beast, Le pere Noel est une ordure, Le corniaud, Frozen, Grease,...)

About books..I'd say L'écume des jours from Boris Vian (and I can't deny that I loooove Harry Potter)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most beautiful things I've done so far, are:

-a week of camping in the Egyptian desert: there are 5 different deserts and we camped one night in each, it was simply breathtaking!

-a safari and climbing the Kilimanjaro in Tanzania: we camped in both trips. During the safari we were in the parks, we could hear the lions passing through the camp during the night, it was amazing. And the Kilimanjaro was just "something"!

-a trip through Brazil with friends: We were 4, one Brazilian, one Spanish, one Italian and myself traveling through the country, staying at our friend's places (his house, his farm, his island..yes he has an island in a big kind of Amazonian river). I saw the Iguacu Falls that were completely breathtaking, so peaceful and natural (I insist on that point that makes it so special and so different from the Niagara Falls)

- El Parque Torres Del Paine in Chile: amazing landscapes....what else?

- Rwanda: one of the most beautiful countries I've seen so far. Sparkling colours, friendly people, tasty food,...

- roadtripping through the United States with a bunch of friends. One of my biggest dream came true this summer. From NYC to LA, we've seen so many beautiful and various sceneries and met a lot of interesting, fascinating people.

- A 14-days Trek in Langtang and Gosaikund in Nepal. Beautiful landscapes, great climbing, a rush of air through the body!
