About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Having an awsome life
ABOUT ME
I love travelling so much that I built up myself a life where I'll be able to travel all the time...
I learned computer programming after my first big trip in 99, with the idea to have my own company one day, a company that I'll be able to manage from anywhere on the world, as long as I'll have internet.
It took a lot of work, a bit more time than expected, but I'm location independant since november 2008.
I love the nature, the trees, sunrises and sunsets, wathing the stars, esoteric, meditative or shamanic experiences.
I love cooking.
I love diving, I have an advanced open water PADI for the moment, will take the divemaster courses this winter if I have time
PHILOSOPHY
I had a really bad accident when I was 16, spent about a year to learn how to walk again. That experience left a lof of scares, but more than anything a huge love for life.
So my personal philosophy is to enjoy life, and do everything to make it exceptionnal...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
my asian tips are a little outdated, but with all I plan to do in thailand, bali and philipines in the next few years I'm gonna be a good source of infos I hope !
it was even before I heard of couchsurfing, had many people sleeping on my sofa over the years, not possible since last year as I live on the road....
when I'm at someone's place I love to go to a market (fresh if possible) an asian stores (spices & herbs !!) and cook for my hosts !
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Outside of this website, this is more or less what I do for more than a year, staying at my mum's place, wtching for some friends appartments or houses when they were on vaccation, or simply use their couch.
I've lived in over 10 places in swiss this year, at relatives in belgium, then in berlin. I'm currently living at my cousin's place in vista, california.
I'm a pretty good cook, I'm handyman, and very good with kids, so I always know how to make myself useful, I only have great experiences in short or long stays.
I really really love cooking, usually people stop talking until the dishes are all empty. People who enjoy spicy food usually become great friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- travelled thousands of miles in the sahara desert with my parents when I was a kid
- watched the sunrise on angkor wat
- lived 3 month in bangkok before travelling another 3 month in thailand
- visited the coolest clubs in london, zurich, barcelona, ibiza and berlin
- atttended heartbeat ceremonies, beating drums for long hours under a tipee (might be the most intense thing I ever did)
- got rid of all my belonogings, and live now with less than 25kg in 2 bags, with my company requiring only my macbook
Teach, Learn, Share
Even if I live from my IT work in webdesign (I code in Ruby on Rails, with a mac by the way)
I'm more confident in my cooking skills. I learned a lot during my travels in thailand, and from multiple experiences.
I only cook vegetarian stuffs, gave up meat more than a decade ago....
But I'm pretty used to help with computer related stuffs too, mostly online, like fixing a website, a blog, tune a wordpress theme & so on...
