Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted, couchsurfed and met quite a few people thanks to CS.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been travelling quite a lot with CS ! From Buenos Aires to Berlin, touring Spain in 10 days, meeting a lot of couchsurfers on the way, it's just great! All these people could teach me or show me something I couldn't have discovered by myself. And we had a lot of fun!

Also, I hosted two or three guys who were very nice and with whom I had a good time.

And last but not least, I just meet people through CS. When you're alone in some foreign town, it's good to have interesting people to party with :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: The best movie I have seen in recent years is "Waking Life". I really like the hypnotic experience that is "Koyaanisqatsi". "Gattaca", Coppola's "Dracula", Soderbergh's "Solaris"... "Happiness" is sharply offensive but so fucking funny. I also like Lynch, Kubrick movies. I'm getting more and more into historical movies.
Music: Björk, Midnight Juggernauts, Radiohead, Portishead, Trans Am, Goldfrapp, Boards of Canada, Clark, Tim Exile... Electro kind of stuff.
Books: "If This Is A Man" by Primo Levi, "Huis Clos" by Jean-Paul Sartre and in a totally different style, "A brief history of time" by scientist Stephen Hawkins. "The House of the Spirits" by Isabel Allende is a book that really shook me before I went to Chile.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Skydiving above the beach in Darwin, Australia
- Touring South America in 6 months with friends, India in 3 months on my own
- Paying myself a Master's degree IN LONDON
- The 10-day Vipassana course
- Organising some crazy beauty pageant for LGBT rights
- I have to keep some stuff for myself :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: Er... I'm totally ignorant! I guess I could teach French, web development and how to make a veggie tartiflette (French dish with fuckloads of cheese).
Learn: I'd like to learn about philosophy, about science... and how to travel for cheap!!
Share: Everything except my toothbrush.

Countries I’ve Visited
