ABOUT ME
Cheers,
I'm Julian, pretty nice guy from awesome Germany. I am a dive instructor working in different places all around the world...what a life ;) . I'm always keen to meet new people on my trips or at the places I live. Currently living and working on Koh Samui in Thailand. If you wanna meet for a beer or you wanna go diving, shoot me a message.
I can host one person, maybe two if you don't have too much stuff :).
I work a lot but sometimes have a day off or an early day. So I won't be available 24/7 but always up for a chat, a beer or a bar in the evening.
MY PHILOSOPHY
Never try, never know
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Till now I've hosted a few people in my flat in Germany, I'm tryin to make it as comfortable as possible for my guests and I'm allways willing to show them around the area and town. I really enjoy a good conversation and I like to laugh. So funny people are always more than welcome.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Hosted a few people from all around the world. Only good experiences so far, not any bad, weird or awful guests/ experiences. I've surfed two couches in Australia which was a nice experience as well. Was a little bit lazy on Couchsurfing for the past few years because of my living situation.
So I don't have anything bad to say about the network, just an awesome opportunity to meet locals or people from all over the world and if possible staying in touch with them for your next journey, meeting each other somewhere else.
Interests
Travelling, diving, football/soccer, sports in general, history, anything which is worth talking about... maybe even religion. But I seriously love nothing more than talking for hours and hours about travelling and experiences while travelling.

Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn about the local life in each city I'm travelling to... Willing to share all the aspects of my own culture such as language, food, music, sports and every information one would like to have.
There's a quote of the Dalai Lama which says: If you talk you only repeat what you already know, but if you listen you might learn something new... quite good and wise... That's the first and only quote here, I promise.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have a small flat, close to fishermen village. You kind of have your own area but not a separate room.
A bathroom, and a balcony is also part of the flat. It makes do and it's quite cozy.
I also have an AC, fan, small kitchen, couch and a wardrobe!
No insects because a tiny gecko is taking care of them :)
