About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Breathe! Other than that, live, learn, share and try to make a (tiny) difference!

ABOUT ME

Easy going and calm. Curious, tolerant, interested in human beings in all their diversity and similarities... Tends to think a lot and procrastination is kind of my specialty, but at some point I just let it go and do what I feel is right!
Randomly: I think I am a good listener, love tasting food, I need to see trees and rivers and the country as much as possible
I would love to try wwoofing some day. I like the whole concept of it, and since I'm a rather reflexive person, I'm sure working with my (own two) hands would be for the best!
What else ? I just know I know nothing and I'm blessed with amazing people that surrounds me. They teach me so much, give me so much strenghth and energy I just want to be able to share it with new people... CS is a perfect way to achieve this!

PHILOSOPHY

If you want to change the world, start by changing yourself
Best decisions I've ever taken did not came from my brain, but from my guts !
Trying to live in the present. Trying to put that philosophy into practice!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I will do my best to be a good surfer first and then to welcome people as soon as I get back to my place!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Amazing, so far, really. I've only be surfing, mainly in Canada and for a few days in Corsica (France). Felt an incredible connection with some of my hosts, and overall, I'm just so reassured about human beings when I meet CS people ;)

Interests

Anthropology, Indigenous peoples' international movement, First Nations of Canada and more specifically Dene people (well, my Phd is about those topics, it takes a great part of my life and I see it as a passion I will try to make a life of more than a job!); Reading !! Books are the companions that allow you to travel while remaining still. Then you need to meet people and travel for real to get a personal sense of what the world is made of.
