About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To make my unexistant grandsons proud of their to-be very travelled and happy granpa.

ABOUT ME

All started when I had an opportunity to study in Amsterdam. I went nuts after travelling in Europe and decided to make my life a non-stop adventure.
I love nature and outdoor activities. My passions are conservation and climbing, I like jogging and hiking. My studies are in Environmental Management and International relations.
Living in Amsterdam is an expat adventoure I try to combine with this insatiable thirst of travelling and stay in touch with my rootes. I love the unknown.

I love surprises, I enjoy uncertainty as long as it involves safety and like to eat weird and delicious food. I am working at the moment in the US although my place of Residence is in Holand (Amsterdam). I will go on work visits to Central America in the coming months and look forward to get to know the people, places and customs.

PHILOSOPHY

Nothing is that serious in order to stop enjoying. Just be thankful, see the bright side, you can always get worst and miserable if you aim to be on the grumpy side of life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books, folk music of the places I have travelled

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To meet a 90 years old poet in the street while he was telling me his life and sharing a cup of cofee.
Fell off a cliff into a waterfall in Iceland.
Teach english in Kathmandu and learn Czech in a tiny town in Moravia.
To be robbed and left alone and without money, in that moment not so great but after a while it was nice adventure. Swim in the second smallest greek island with a group of camping archeologists.
To hitchhike from Prague to Amsterdam with my hungarian friend, about 11 tracks and a final saldo of +10 euros because a wonderful couple of elder Romanians saw us so tired and fucked up that gave us money for food!...tip, do not hitchhike with a huge luggage of 30 kilograms.
Nature conservation voluntary work in National parks in iceland.
Teaching english in a small suburb of Kathmandu...hiking in the Nepali Himalayas and living in a budist monastery with snow cap views from my room.

Teach, Learn, Share
