About Me
I'm very interested in other cultures in general because I think the more we know about differences/alternative normalities than those we ourselves grew up with ... the easier it becomes to be tolerant, to develop a greater understanding and to see what it is that connects people beyond culture, language, trained behaviour, ... and makes us just simply HUMAN.
I love to travel myself, but also to learn new things, getting to know new people ... although I have to admit that I am not super communicative sometimes, it depends on sympathy ... meaning I am not somebody who necessarily talks a lot ... but sometimes I do :-D
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Often enough it seems to be the best opportunity to travel rather spontaneously ... just buy a ticket to some place you don't know and having someone to get in touch with... having the possibility to ask for help, to get the real insider hints that only locals know!
Also I would like to be a host to others occasionally ... but currently I'm living in a single room apartement in Vienna, which does not provide much space or intimacy for guests ... so maybe if the sympathy is huge I can host someone ... or I'll move to a bigger flat sometime soon XD
